Over the next two weeks I will be finalizing things for a Zumba fitness class I will be teaching.  Between working on that work and sleeping I will be pretty busy.  :/

Update mid to end august

I have been working a lot at my job and preparing for the zumba class I will be teaching, so haven't been able to post the swatches.  I would prefer to get a better camera since I typically take pics on my cell phone which has been acting up lately and not as great of quality.

 At any rate I have hauled in some new items from Meow Cosmetics and received my first lunar bunny club item from Moon Rabbit. I also suscribed to some services (julep, beauty army, my glam (though my cancel this one before I get anything from them) and birch box as well as one that is for my dog bark box). I received my intro julep box yesterday I got it for a penny from using the code 'penny'. I received two colors, a pedi cream which I knew I would be getting, but I also received a bag bout the size of a cereal box.

Ulta event/visit

My mother and I have been wondering about our undertones, what season we are, etc.   So I came up with this plan to go to Ulta. I have never been in the store but have ordered from them online a few times.

 I sadly didn't really get to look around much since we signed up for the PurMinerals event that was going on.  We both got suckered into buying items we really didn't need. (I do own so much already).  The make up was alright, but not exceptional from what I experienced.   I do have very red cheeks so the corrective primer may have been a good get, but I wonder if I would have been better off with Smashbox or another brand. I do like the gold eyeshadow I purchased but considering my recent hauls I sure I have something that would compare.

At any rate I supposedly have pink undertones and my mother is neutral (which she really isn't happy to hear since she was hoping to have specific colors to replace her wardrobe due to her weight loss)..  I really just wanted to know because I fear ordering foundations over the net.  I otherwise wear what I want and I think looks good.

At any rate I would like to go back to Ulta to get a chance to walk around and try other products.

brief intro-

So I have debated about starting a blog for the last month or so.  I recently dove head first into the cosmetic world.  Going from wearing make up from a few times a year to practically everyday has been a big turn for me. This is one of many transformations I have and plan to go through. I have decided to try to share part of the journey with whomever may find it interesting.  Though mostly using this to get things out of my head. 

Few things to get to understand me a little better:
I love sea turtles, going to local ren fest (hoping to go to other states at some point), I have a degree in biology, have an interest in art/creativity, and since it is late I am going to leave it at that. I am fully aware I am a dork and slightly crazy. I am okay with this. :)
